VITALS

SCIENCE & TRUST

Understanding people comes with responsibility.

When insights about people help shape hiring, development, or collaboration, the foundation matters.

A VITALS profile at the center, connected to six dimensions: Values, Interests, Temperament, Action Style, Learning Style, and Social Style

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE PLATFORM

Established science.
Practical insights.

VITALS is powered by the Watterson Personality Inventory, an instrument developed by Dr. David Watterson, former Chairman of Raymond Cattell’s research institute. It integrates established psychological research. Including Jung’s theory of psychological types, Cattell’s 16 Personality Factors, and Holland’s vocational interests in one coherent framework.

VITALS continually collaborates with academic researchers, psychologists, and experts to evalulate and create new tools. The result is a practical vocabulary for how people tend to work, communicate, learn, and make decisions, described in terms of dimensions and patterns rather than fixed categories.

FROM ASSESSMENT TO APPLICATION

A clear foundation for every conversation.

Measurement and interpretation are separate steps. Knowing which is which makes it easier to trust what a profile says.

  1. 01

    Assessment

    Structured responses

The participant completes the assessment, a structured set of questions designed to capture how they tend to operate. Their answers are the only raw material.

  2. 02

    Deterministic scoring

    Measured profile

Responses are scored using the factor-analytic method to produce the dimension profile. The same answers always produce the same result , no AI is involved in measurement.

  3. 03

    AI interpretation

    Practical interpretation

AI helps express the measured results in accessible, everyday language. It explains the profile; it does not change the scores or decide anything about the person.

WAYS TO USE THE CONTEXT

  • Deeper Interviews
  • Client onboarding
  • Team collaboration
  • Development discussions

The profile adds context to these conversations. It's not designed to predict performance or guarantee outcomes.
